Give candidates a better prep brief.
When the loop is scheduled, send the candidate to LLMInterview. They get a free interview map: likely rounds, what is confirmed versus inferred, and where their own background may get pressed. No card required for the free map.
What the candidate sees
Free map
Likely rounds and what each tests, in about a minute. No card required.
Biggest exposure
Where their own background gets pressed, and which rounds are confirmed rather than inferred.
Optional $39 full prep
A one-time unlock on their own map. They choose; you pay nothing.
When to send it
- Right after the loop is scheduled, in the same email as the calendar invite. That is when the candidate is most likely to act on it and least likely to prepare the wrong thing.
- When you have named rounds the candidate probably does not recognise — AI system design, evals and reliability, an agent take-home. Anything you state is treated as confirmed evidence and outranks every inference.
- When the candidate is strong but broad, and the risk is a thin story rather than a missing skill. The free map names the single biggest exposure in their own background.
Better-prepared candidates make loops cheaper to run: fewer rounds spent discovering that someone misread the format, and fewer late withdrawals after a surprise take-home. See a complete example Full Interview Map or read how rounds are ranked and labelled.
Recruiter-confirmed rounds are marked confirmed. Inferred and unknown stay labelled as such.
Synthetic proof test: we buried a weakness in a fictional resume and the free map caught it. Fictional candidate; no endorsement by any company.
Role-specific background reading for candidates: the applied AI engineer interview and the LLM system design round.
